Oh, surprised it wasn't tracked, just because I always thought
earthshine required longer exposures than that. Very nice indeed!
The Andromeda shot is great as well - I can see both the very well known
satellite galaxies. Any plans for deeper exposures of this object?
Would be very interesting to see how much of the faint spiral arms you
could record. Depends on how dark your skies are of course.
A telescope is still a distant dream for me, but one day I will have an
M31 shot as well!

No, it was just a simple tripod setup. I don't recall the exact exposure
time, but it's likely to be much shorter than a second, thus no need for
tracking -- at 300 mm.
My only tracked pic with the Zuiko 300/4.5 so far is a 10 minute exposure
on Ilford Delta 3200, of M31, the Andromeda galaxy:
