Yes, the M42 mount lens was for the FTL. I had one for a while, and managed to get it checked out by a list-member's geiger counter. Only the front of the lens was radioactive, and it was mild compared to the Leica collapsible 50mm lens he also had.

It's a common theory that the lens formulations for the FTL were reused for the OM's. They didn't just put on a new mount, though, the FTL doesn't have detents on the aperture ring.

This is the FTL lens, right?  Were these early lenses just modified into the 
early OM lenses, or did the optical properties change?
