I think they've set a street price of something like $7999 - which isn't
at all out of line for what's really a 600 2.8.

Ouch ... sounds like it will never be affordable. I guess they want to
have a holy grail rather than a lens with a significant market. Maybe
they will stick with the 4/3 format for a long time. -jeff
