It is more solid, and more weatherproof, than the OM series.

As I havn't gone digital in any shape or form yet it is tempting. But
given a lot of my photos are in very camera unfriendly conditions I'll
need it be as tough as my 4ti. Battery life and sand-proofing will also
be big issues
