What are the thoughts of list members regarding the differences (good and
bad) between the newer style Tamron 17mm 3.5 and the older style. I believe
that the older style is all metal and has some CC filters built in. Newer
one is more "plasticy" and doesn't have the filters? Is $200 too much to pay
for a newer style issue?
