Anyone wanting to kill some time and wind up laughing hysterically, just go
to most of the online translators available
http://www.freetranslation.com/
http://babelfish.altavista.com/

And try translating, and then 'un-translating' some text. The 'to' language
almost doesn't seem to matter. It's most revealing to see what simple
phrases get morphed into.

I know this as I thought I'd be cordial and email my boss a nice message in
his native language (Portuguese) while he was on vacation. I translated my
short note, copied and mailed without checking just what it was I was
mailing him.

I didn't get fired, but he still opens it occasionally now that he's back
just for a good laugh.
