Good on you, Tracey. That's an excellent result!
Now, I've got this photo of my Dad, taken around 1932, been laying under my
brother's house since 1953, with only about fifteen percent of the image
legible. Let me know if you want further practice...

Go to the "in progress" pic to see how it finished up. At the very end, I
actually started playing with layers, and copy and paste to fix up area's I
wasn't happy with. Considering this is my first attempt at restoring, I
don't think it turned out to bad. Certainly went about it the long way by
only cloning (mutter, mutter...)
And, of course, the book I ordered from Amazon, Photoshop Restoration and
Retouching, came the day before I finished it off. I'm now in the position
of knowing what NOT to do, and will go back and do it again the proper way.
Just because I can.
