Aloha Dan,
Mike Veglia recommended both Calypso and West Coast Imaging to the list
probably more than a year ago. I had Calypso scan a half a dozen slides
and print them at 16"x20" for me. A lot of people are very impressed and
intently stare at them, but not because the photographer did a very good
job. Calypso is pretty close to where I work. I'm very happy with them.
Both companies are pretty expensive for scanning. If I can effectively
use my scanner it will pay for itself very quickly.
Mike had also recommended bayphoto. I believe a number of people on the
list use a company called slide printers (?). Didn't Andrew (in Oz?)
start a list of recommended photo processors?
