I know it's not a "system," but I thought the preview on dpreview of the Sony DSC-F828 was really promising. I may grab one just to put in my camera bag on trips and such. Eight megapixel, Sony's new RGBE sensor, nice Carl Zeiss T lens with a 35mm equivalence of 28-200mm/f2.0-2.8, slots for both Memory Stick and Compact Flash/Microdrive, retail price around $1200. I'll bet Sony is going to sell a ton of them. It would be cool if Olympus offered something comparable...an E-30 maybe? At that price point and with specs and optics like that, it's pretty hard not to notice, IMO.
