Albert,
I think (do not take this the wrong way) that you are more of a gearhead, than
yod like to admit...:) and nothing wrong with this either. I think yo are more
interested in what the gear can do for you, I might be wrong, in your
photographs you seem to value how much detail the camera was able to
capture...etc. you know what I mean...
My advice is to sit back again (after reading all this posts) and think what
you want as a final result, I really want to underline that final...If you
still think that you are mostly interested in how big that slide image is, fine
buy that MF even better, the prices are falling down, so you can go even larger
at a reasonable price, but IMHO you will not find a system as versatile as the
35mm and at this point you should use it from the beginning to the end, meaning
also printing.
This list has its moods and if curious, ask the same question a couple of
months later and see what answers you would get...under its influence I went
into MF at one point and regret it, but keep the camera, because it is such fun
to use it and do not want to loose money, but I am also a guy who notices the
composition first, all the other parameters can be adjusted later in the
process...to some degree.
But if you asked MF or digital, I would tell you the latter. I think that most
of the list members unfairly put down digital and the storage concerns are
unreasonable, but this is what I think and for those of you with their hair up
their butts (it seems that lately this have been happening more than ever...) I
write the following disclaimer:
