I'm not sure that the problem is fixed as such. The 2N avoids the problem by
automatically selecting sync speed using the flash ready signal. I'm sure JH
can enlighten us as to whether there is a circuit change in the quench
circuit. The signal would have to be re - routed via the auto / manual
switch.

Shoe 2 has a quench pin, but a T series can't see it, since it's in the
wrong place. What shoe 2 lacks is the FR pin. Sorry, just being pedantic.
