Greg, I know that you were hoping for advice, and are probably disappointed
that I am not giving any. However, I would like to ask what you think of
that Vivitar S1 19-35. I am contemplating purchasing one myself and would
value any input you could give.

My dilemma: I chose the 35-105 for my midrange lens based on focal length
stretch and size, but I've also got all three of the 35-70s and the 35-80
(which is bulkier than the 35-105). Any one think I should substitute on of
the other zooms in place of the 35-105? Also, any pointers on the Asheville
area?
