Interesting... So what would be the new price for my 300/4.5 that arrived
today - in immaculate condition, I really don't think its ever been attached
to a body.

New price in Holland in 1989 was FL 1055 (or in Germany about DM 900,
roughly equal to $ 450). Prices have raised a bit since then.
