And my Leisagang bought in London in 1961 after two years and thousands of
slides is still going well. However the fan noise tends to frighten hell out
of the dog.

If you're a carolsel type: I have a Singer-made Leica Prodolux RT300 that
has been rock solid for the 20 years that I've had it.  Even to the point of
getting filled up with water in a basement flooding.  Emptied out and
quickly dried, it's been fine since that episode 6 years ago.  Lots of them
on Ebay.
