Double stick tape. The heavy duty kind, not scotch tape type. Try a
hardware store or carpet supply. Cut disk to the size of the cover and
stick. Use a piece of dowel or anything the right diameter and which
gives a good grip to twist. This shouldn't damage anything and may or
may not work depending upon how tight it's on there. But give it a shot
before more invasive methods like disassembly or drilling or epoxy.
