Hi James,

Definitely worth checking out, I think it must be one of the most popular art exhibits there's been in London for years. I'm thinking I might go back with another roll of XP-2 and do a load more photos of reflections in the ceiling. I didn't intentionally take b/w film, it was just what I had in the camera at the time, but I don't think you would gain too much with colour actually - you'd really just get a monochrome image in orange tones instead of grey!

Cheers,
Roger

Roger,

I plan to go and take some pics at the tate while The Weather Project is running - just too good an opportunity to pass up. With the massive orange sun I was thinking it's got to be colour film, but you got some pretty good shots with b/w. Did you regret not having colour?

James

Lovely autumnal pictures Wayne, I especially liked the sunset over the lake. I am in a similar narrow rut of subject matter, with about 85% of my photography being landscapes and the other 15ight shots of cities. I'm not too bored of that work yet, but have recently being doing more black and white work, and more photographs including people - normally anathema to me. A couple of efforts which I think are an OK start can be seen here:

Can be good to go for drastically different subject matter - quite refreshing for one's creativity I think.

What I mean by a rut is subject matter. I'm just getting a bit bored of
taking 95ature and landscape, but that is about all I know.
