There's no cure for a rotten old curmudgeon. Suitable punishment might have
been to assign you as court reporter for the Rosy O'Donnell trial. Then
again, maybe they didn't bother with having one. /jim

I have epoxied again! So shoot me!

It's apparently okay to epoxy up a screw hole that's in the wrong
place on some Tamron Adaptall mounts, but epoxying anything
Olympus seems to be a mortal sin. At least, that's the impression
I got about this time last year when I was castigated and
chastised after I (bragged) (admitted) (confessed) that I epoxied
the foot back on a T Power Control 1. The wires were still
connected, but the screw threads were stripped, so I figured, hey,
what the hell? And I went right ahead and did it. The thing
still works just fine, thank you.

But today, like I said already, I epoxied again. The little
finger locater doohickey on the front of my M.18V grip came off.
It's held in place by two tiny screws from the inside, both of
which came loose, and both of which I lost as soon as I took out
the battery holder. (I probably shouldn?t have done that
outdoors.) But it doesn't matter, though, since there's no way in
hell I could have put them back in because the holes they fit in
are impossible to reach from the inside. Makes me wonder how they
got them in when the grip was made. Must've been those subatomic
midget robots at the Wyoming plant.

So, I epoxied the thing back on, and made an improvement while
doing so: I moved it up just a smidgen so it fits my hand better.
I bet it won't come off again! And if it does, want to take a
guess as to what I'll do?

Is there a 12-step program for us epoxyholics? Should I be
stopped before I epoxy again?

Nah. I'm happy being a recidivist!

Walt
