Same here in SC. This year we came off a three-year drought and the spider
population exploded. Can't say the same for the Honey Bees though. Walt is
right...they have been decimated by parasites.

Not to make light of your observation, but we've had a bumper crop of bees
and arachnids up here in the Pacific Northwest this year.  At least in my
part of it.  More wasps and hornets than honey bees, but I've seen them as
well.

Walt... Does your wife hire out?
