With the lens zoomed to 200mm, there is about 23mm of the lens barrel left exposed. The band on the Oly tripod mount measures 19mm wide, the Tamron measures 15mm. I'm not familiar with the lens you're talking about, but if all you have is 7mm to work with, I don't think it would work.
