The non-MD OM-1 that I have just bought has a peculiarity; when I look in
the viewfinder (no lens mounted) and look sideways, I see what looks like
the inside of the pentaprism. It is grey-coloured, with black specks
(rotted foam) in the corners. When I try the same thing with my other
OM-1's, I can only see black (faint corner angles). Am I seeing a
pentaprism with the foam removed, or what?
