I recently made the mistake of jumping in and _somewhat_ defending the U.S.
in a thread on the Leica forum on photo.net. The poster whined about being
approached by airport security and told to stop taking photos after he was in
the
same airport taking photos For Two Weeks! Now, I certainly know that an
airport terminal can be an interesting place, but I questioned what could hold
him
there for two weeks straight, especially since the only photo he posted was of
an empty escalator. I'm still nursing my wounds from that one...I was accused
of not caring for my own constitutional rights, and how the U.S. is
responsible for every problem in the world today. I'd rather talk cameras and
not know
how everyone feels on political issues, as those discussions sure can try a
friendship....
