I'm interested in how you got this lens without a case. I've never seen one
sold without the case that I remember. The 1000 mm is an awkward rascal to
handle, with or without the case. Someone on this list might know of one or
you might be able to have one custom made. I think Haliburton used to make
special application hard cases. You should contact Olympus too as they have
some odd lot stuff still in inventory. /jim

Hello list
I noticed on an earlier posting that someone remarked this was an
international list. If so could anyone tell me where on earth I could get
hold of a proper olympus case for my zuiko 1000mm lens! This thing is
difficult to use at the best of times but at least if I had a box to
transport it then I may be less tempted to leave it at home on a shelf when
I go out trying to photograph the local wildlife.
