Moose has some long Tokina's IRRC but he probably can't comment at the
moment.
I've used the Tamron 400/4 quite a bit and have been VERY happy with it. The
list member with the long Sigma (500?) has almost every long lens and is
happy with the Sigma ... it can't be too shabby.
