Who does slide shows. I'm surprised they even have the stuff. I think chrome
will go on longer than we think, as a professional film. Chrome as an
amateur film was dead years ago, except for the aging hobbiest. Feel sad for
the camera store, just like the stereo store. Mail order is our salvation.

The busiest camera seller here (Oz) in the Christmas period is a
store that also sells white goods, furniture and computers (Harvey
Norman). The camera store as we know it is in deep trouble. The bread
and butter lines of cheap $1-200 P&S cameras are vanishing and the
potential new P&S moneyspinner, the $400 didge, has been gazumped by
discount everything stores selling to the 'does it have a zoom?'
buyers.
Film may be available for a good long while but where will you get
it? Pro level cameras will not be discounted as only specialist
stores will have them. Hmmmm.
