Staus symbol, people! status symbol! Did you ever watch a 5 foot tall soccer 
mom try and park one of those Lincoln Navigators? They CAN'T! 
Do you think she'll even know it has 4-wheel drive?

Ahh yes the Hummer 2 or as I prefer to call it, the "Hummeroid".  
Pseudomilitary; neither a particularly good off road vehicle or a 
particularly good on road vehicle, or even a particularly good 
compromise.  Seems to have the worst of both.
