I went and had a look in my workshop. I found that the plastic top of a 12
oz. can of spray paint will fit perfectly inside the hood, both protecting
the lens and keeping the hood round too. You will need to experiment, as I
found a soft feeling cap on one can in my shop that was perfect and it has
rounded edge so no scraping, just take your hood to a paint store and see
what fits.
