Am I the only one who has noticed that the 11-22 f 2.8-3.5 zoom (22-44
35 equiv) is now listed on the official E-1 site as one of five lenses
for the E-1? (Or did I miss a discussion here? ;-) ) B&H isn't listing
it yet, but I assume it can't be far off given that it's now listed as
part of the outfit.

Well, I haven't given the camera the workout that I would have liked
to. I would still like to do that but the weather has been mixed here
a lot lately. I'd like to rent it when I know there will be some
sunny weather.

I don't believe those comments from the Oly rep for a minute. I'm
very confident in the ruggedness of the Canon prosumer SLRs.

Hey! I resemble that remark! Well, it is heavy, but you *do* get
pumped up shooting with it! ;-)

Yeah, the new Ultrachrome printers, 9600, 7600, 2200 and R800 are
pretty incredible. I really love the stuff I am getting out of my
2200. Epson is doing some amazing stuff.

Might want to re-think the 12" G iBook....turns out there a *lot* of
people that are suffering from multiple iBook logic board and video
failures. There is a group that is organizing a class action suit
against Apple, and I contacted a firm that specializes in Class
Action suits in the City about this problem, and got a call from one
of their associates. They are potentially interested in this problem.
Some people are on their 5th logic board! The logic boards fail
sometimes within a few months. There are apparently some serious
design flaws with the iBook, both the hinge and a video chip that
comes loose from the logic board. See the link here:

As a long-time Mac user and Apple customer, this and Apple's refusal
