Anyone have a suggestion on how to deal with an occasional need to scan 6x7
images? I've checked a few services around town, and they will do it for a
pretty substantial fee (as much as $18 for a single 6x7 transparency!).
I've contemplated one of the newer flatbed scanners with build in
transparency adapters going up to 4x5, but am a little uncomfortable with
that solution. On the other hand, spending $1000+ on a film scanner that
can handle medium format is not really in my budget. If someone knows of a
reasonably priced mail in service, I'd be interested.
I suppose I could slice the frames down small enough to fit into my 35mm
film scanner, and paste them back in Paint Shop..... not!
