[OM] CU on digital SLRs

I saw the CU "once-over" on digital SLRs. As products become more complex,
CU seems more likely to give misleading information, or even downright
incorrect buying advice. CU seems to think that because they're independent,
and try to be objective, their reviews are necessarily correct. That's not
necessarily true.

It's true CU thought well of all the cameras in that group. However, they
did not state how they judged color accuracy (Pop Photo does), then averred
that color accuracy was not a major consideration anyhow, because most
editing software has a color-correction feature.

Whoever wrote the article clearly did not understand the difference between
overall color errors caused by shifts in the color temperature of the
lighting source (which software handles readily), and errors in color
rendition caused by the failure of any tristimulus system to perfectly
reproduce all colors. These are the significant errors, and cannot be easily
fixed in PhotoShop.
