The differences are extensive. The biggest is auto vs. manual exposure. 
The 4 does both and the 1 is manual only. For a quick summary of other 
differences, look on the eSIF Body Group Table

the individual body listings. Unless you are used to using your OM-10 in 
manual, you will likely find the OM-4 much easier to use than the 1. 
Manual exposure control under the pressure of a wedding is only for 
those with much experience and/or masochistic tendencies.
