HI all:

If you look at specs m C-5060 can take higher resolution images than a Canon
D1, A photojournalist friend of mine uses the D1. He needs a lot of speed
while shooting. His camera flies in multiple pictures mode and writes to
media extremely fast. Plus the software that comes withthe camera is very
quick and images management is very easy. The big advantage of these DSLRs
over, lets say a G5 or Camedia C-5060, is that all the controls are on the
camera rather than in a menu.
A strong point for the E-1.

The G5 I held last thursday and played with it. The viewfinder is
magnificent compared to my Camedia, which I do not use at all. The LCD panel
was big and very bright. The quality of pictures compares wih my camera. My
hands, and I have small hands, were very uncomfortable. The Camedia feels
much much better and weights a lot less. My knucles would hit the lens.
