Good question. I don't know. There are a couple of problems with 
Epson drivers that one wonders about (e.g. settings no being 
"sticky", etc) that seem to go unfixed.

Walt, a RIP is a "raster image processor". And you need one if you 
want the best
B&W from your 2200....
