Hi Fernando:

Yes, I do that too, but I must confess that it is for two other reasons. One
because it is smaller in height and doesn't 'catch' in the carry bag, and
two, because the 1's and 2's look better without them, and three, I don't
use flash all that often. Would you agree, that if the plastic shoe was
solid metal that the damage could be more extensive?
