I have the Sigma 18-50 for my 10D and it isn't that bad. It cost me only £80
and I couldn't see any inferiority to Sigmas 17-35, (soon to be replaced?)
There are obvious savings to be made in a lens with an APS sized image
circle and the E1 version should therefore be even cheaper to make!!
