Not any more. It means that if you are lying I will shoot you. Not a
specific usage here, any more than saying get your ass over here or sit
your ass down and lets talk. Just adds emphasis. And as the people who
write dictionaries who just report usage rather than correct usage, it
enriches our noble language. Hah.
