Thanks for the (serious) replies. I'm not looking at permanently sealing
it. I might want to sell the bodies at some time (yeah, right) or might
even change my mind about on-camera flash. It happens.
As to drilling the screw, I had budgeted for that, pity something like
this isn't economically attractive to a small workshop.
