Johan,
I know you stated previously that you had tried different batteries, but it
does make a difference what kind of batteries you use. "357" or "SR44" are the
preferred type. "LR44" batteries could cause the problem you describe. Also,
it's possible that even new batteries may not be full strength; check them with
a tester if you have access to one. Beyond that, you may have a short circuit
or power drain problem, needing professional help.
