I think he's referring to the need that seppos have to be seen as
world saviours.
As in - if it wasn't for the Poms I'd be speaking to you in Arunta or
Gunditjmara.
Or, if D'Entrecasteux had been a little more enterprising, we'd be French.
Or but for the French, you'd still have a Queen.
And who did you say brought the dingo with them?
And I'm hoping to visit the Ile de Re this year. :)
