Only time I've been to Melbourne was in November a few years ago,
would've expected it to be something roughly summer-like at that time of
year but it was quite comparable actually to London-style Novembers -
cold, miserable, constant drizzle. Most of the time the top of the
Rialto Towers wasn't visible from ground level but I did get some lovely
OM photos from up there at night in a brief gap in the clouds. Sydney
weather, on the other hand, was superb, hot and sunny, *much* nicer than
Melbourne :)
