Curt Fargo "may" have reverse drill bits, so as the bit starts to dig in
(turning in reverse direction), there may be enough torque to get the
damaged item to unscrew itself.

Good luck.  You may have to drill it out.  You have to hope that as you
start to drill, (maybe with a 1.7mm bit) it centers itself properly.  Drill
through a little to get through the thickness of the head.  Then drill same
hole with a 2mm bit just enough  until head comes off.  Go back to 1.7mm
drill and drill through remaining screw.  Obviously, keeping drill hole
centered here is of prime importance.  Sometimes, if there's open space on
other side, bad screw will run through to the inside.  If not, then with 2mm
tap, retap hole.
