Macro photography. It gives you a magnification of the centre of the
image - 1.2X or 2.5X - and swings around to any angle. Oly only made
the 90deg type. I'm also modifying a little Pentax 2X straight type I
got the other day for $20 - with that one you can focus on the centre
and then flip it up for a normal view and it doesn't reverse the
image.
