I have the LowePro OmniPro bags that fit in water and dust-proof hard cases.

have $4000 or $5000 in that bag... I *don't* think I'd ever consider
checking it, nor would I -even- let it out of my sight and grip. I don't
have any specific case suggestions, but I think there are some 'soft' cases
designed to fit well into a 'matching' Pelican case. Having the hard case
option might be handy for when you go canoeing or 4-wheeling on a real Jeep
trail...
