I have two (Sangamo) Weston Master V meters, which use selenium cells of
about the same size as that shown in the picture of the booster cell. One
of them I bought new around 1967-8; both function without problems, with
accurate readings. They have always been kept in their original
(light-tight) cases, which probably helps against deterioration. With their
Invercone attachments, they give very accurate incident light readings.
