Actually, sorry I wasn't clear. I was agreeing with you, at 4000+ DPI (I 
have a LS-4000), we are probably at the limit of what can be reasonably 
scanned. Grains are what we are scanning. IOW, I bet there is may be 
another 5% or something of data left that can be gotten by a super high 
priced drum scanner and such, but you really have to pay for those last bits.
