European fuel prices? Reminds me of overhearing US tourists in London a few
years back, commenting that the prices at the filling station didn't seem
that different from back home. Indeed they weren't, it was just the uniot
of measure was the liter rather than the gallon. And it doesn't really
matter whether it was a US gallon or a full-size Imperial gallon!
Unleaded round here is running USD1.40 per liter - I think that is USD5.50
per US gallon in round numbers.

Er, mebbe this is obvious, but you can buy the 35mm slide targets at B&H
(approx. $40.00 to $60.00 off their website, depending on whether you want
Ektachrome or Kodachrome). Search on "IT8" or "Q60." Available from Agfa
and Kodak. The Agfa ones are way more expensive, and available by special
order only. The Kodak ones are in stock as of this evening.
I know they're hard to come by, but then, I'm a deprived Canadian. I'd
think you folks in the States oughta be able to get 'em at the local
espresso bar. ;-)
