You should also consider the Vivitar 75-260mm 4.5  which has a 67mm thread.
This is a big lens with a tripod mount.  I have purchased two, the first for
$35 and recently another for $5 on *bay.  The lens was made by Tokina and is
an older all metal construction.  For the price, this may be one of the best
options available.  The faster lenses mentioned are of course better - but
do not pass this up if it is available for much less.  I have used it for
two soccer seasons - usually shooting at 4.5 at 1000/sec. -  all hand held
with the om2n.  The weight is something I no longer give any thought but
make no mistake - this is a big lens.  It works well with a standard 1-13
focus screen.  The results have been very good.
