Hi, Sebastian and all.

Other interesting lenses, IMHO, are:

***Tamron SP 70-210/3.5*** There were two versions of this lens, the older
is a two-touch design with 1:2 macro ratio, the second one is one-touch
with 1:2.66 macro. I had the latter, and it was amazingly sharp, but rather
heavy. This version also features a variable hood, similar to the Zuiko
35-70/3.6

***Tamron 75-250/3.8-4.5*** This is a semi-constant aperture zoom (remains
f/3.8 from 75mm up to approx. 180mm) is every bit as sharp as the SP 3.5
and has more reach, while not being much slower. It's also big and heavy,
but I find it much easier to handle. One-touch, but in a 'reverse' way,
"shorter" at the longest focal setting. Focuses down to 1.2 m (4 ft.) at
any focal length.

Both use 62mm filters, but no tripod mount :-(

Hope this helps,

...
