I think you may have that turned around. The F-803 is the smallest Domke and
couldn't possibly be too big for Andrew. The F-802 is 15.5x4x12 in. while the
F-803 is 13x4x9.

I have an F-803 and it's very small. Just used it today and it carried one
Nikon F3 body (sorry to blaspheme) with 20mm lens mounted, but no drive, plus 4
other primes from 28 to 135. The body sat vertically on its end atop a few
rolls of film and 2 lenses were stacked in each of the padded compartments.
Front
pockets carried filters, notebook, etc., and the back pocket carried a
paperback novel with room for more. No room for papers of the sort Andrew is
describing, nor room for another body with lens mounted. You might squeeze in
another
body alone if you were dealing with smaller OM gear. I've never packed my
OM-1 kit in this bag.

By the sound of it, Andrew, you need one of the larger Domke satchels if
you're going Domke at all. I recommend these bags highly, owning an F-1x,
ancient
F-2, original F-3 and F-3x as well as the 803. I have or have had Tamracs and
Lowepros, none of them satchels, and they're great too, but I always turn to
the free-form Domkes in the end. They're strong and immensely durable and worth
every penny, IMHO.

The F-806 might be your ideal bag, though I haven't seen one in the flesh.
I'm judging by the Saunders web site.

Hope this helps.
