The buzzing thing is different than loose ground screws (which cause a
chirping in the same tone as the battery check). The first time I heard the
buzzing I thought "what's inside that could possibly buzz that way".
Tighten bottom cover screws, use chrome battery cap, silver oxide batteries.
Sorry, I don't have a solution for the buzzing.
