The 1:2.5 *is* at 80mm focal length Moose, I just checked. And as you will
see when you get it, the lens is marked (like the 90mm macro) for use with
the 2x converter, which of course then gets you to 1:1.25.

The absolute closest focusing distance of <0.27m is at about 70mm focal
length, compared to 0.8m at 35mm focal length.

$37.75 is a price Doris would be proud of - for the lens alone, never mind
the mount and case.

Let us know what you think!

What got me on the Tamron was the 1:2.5 repro and that it is at the long
end, at least according to Roger. The Kiron is 1:4 and Cult Classics doesn't
say at what fl. I know the 35-135/3.5-4.5 also goes to 1:4, but that is at
35mm. I do think very highly of the Kirons lenses. Maybe what got me on the
Tamron was also that a quick 'Bay search found one right away closing soon
and I got it for $37.75. Of course, it was with a non-Oly adaptall mount,
but that's no problem. I haven't seen that Kiron in Oly mount in ages.
